I want this thread to become a place where new modelers can get help with whatever they are working on in blender. This thread is not meant for people trying to learn the basics of modelling or how to use Blender overall, f you have a question for everyone please explain the issue well and include some screenshots if possible. Cheers - - - Updated - - - So I will start this off with a problem of my own.. I got a bit to liberal with the subdivide tool (not thinking of polly count), now I am trying to remove as much geometry as possible so this will not lag my map. I started going through the model by hand and dissolving edges (however this leaves the vertices intact inside of the connecting faces / edges..) , then moved onto just deleting a row of faces and replacing them with less complex geometry. This process is going to take a long time at this point considering the size of the model (inside and outside), I was hoping someone here knows a quicker way of simplifying geometry and cutting polly count, maybe a script or something? If not then I suppose I know what I will be doing this evening . This is just one section of the tunnel, I plan on adding an array modifier of like 30, so I need to cut out as much as possible.. I also attached the .blend file for those curious.
