About 2 months ago I downloaded a lot of vehicle mods. For some reason, only two of about 45 worked. The VW Polo R WRC and the Maxxian LX. I was a bit puzzled by this. When I try downloading any map, most of the time it works. Do you use the same method for the vehicles or not? I follow all the steps on the modding tutorials but there are no changes. I recently deleted every car mod, then re-downloaded 5 of them. No change! Can someone please help?

The file structure of BeamNG has changed over time, put your mods here: Documents/BeamNG/mods/Vehicles/here

I think I've already tried that. I download the zip file then extract it to the vehicles folder in the mods section.

where the mods from Russian websites or non-BeamNG official?

    Are they just old?

The VW-POLO and the other one were made on here, if you did get them from Russian websites that is possibly the issue.

Open the zip file and look at the file structure.

If it says vehicles>"Modname">"ModFiles" then it goes in Documents> BeamNG.Drive>Mods.

If it says "Modname">"ModFiles" Then it goes in BeamNG Installation Root>Content>vehicles>Unpack Zip File here.
What BeamNG.Drive version do you use ?

Edit: apparently i'm out of the loop on this topic, don't listen to me.

False, nothing goes in BeamNG installation. If its "modname">"modfiles" it gets extracted to documents/beamng.drive/mods/vehicles

Mod support has been improved and you no longer need to do any sort of extraction.

Thanks Dummiesman. I decided just to copy the DSC Forklift into the vehicles folder and all my mods appeared!? Odd but I'm happy now.
