I have only downloaded mods from around the fourms here on beam, but when i try to open them them winar says that there is an unexpexted end of archive. I have got some things to work but after a while all of the mods did this. I tried to open it with 7-zip but that also won't work.

    Thanks in advance.

You need not unzip or decompress them. If you downloaded them from the mods page of this forum, just place them in the mods folder, located in Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods

Put it in your mod folder and DO NOT UNZIP IT the game works with zipped folders...then your mod will work :)

Adding to what others have said,

Unexpected end of archive means the mod didn't finish downloading, or got corrupted when it downloaded. A stable mod should open just fine in winrar. Do you have a shoddy internet connection or really old hard drive?

You may have a bad wifi connection or a bad adapter.

I have a wifi adapter and it's not the best (cheap 12 dollar low end ebay product) but it gives good speeds, but it's bad with multiple downloads of larger files. If you are downloading more than one map, try it one at a time. As I said, this might not be your case, but it's worth checking off.

Yeah, that's probably why. The mods are corrupted because it couldn't download properly - most likely very low quality signal. Perhaps find an ethernet plug or go to a library near you to properly download a mod.
