WIP Beta released MitchellKnb Wheelpack 0.5

As I have made many wheels and other parts in the past for Rigs of Rods, I have many meshes on my harddrive. Recently I learned how to convert these meshes into BeamNG with great thanks to Nadeox1 for helping me understand how BeamNG works for modding wheels. I am now in the proces of converting my wheel meshes into BeamNG and forming a wheelpack! When I have a significant amount of wheels converted I will release the wheelpack.

BETA RELEASED!

The wheelpack will mostly (but not exclusively) contain Mercedes-Benz wheels. These wheels will be renamed into MKNB wheels with a new logo:


- Mercedes-Benz Toliman rims, very light 16 inch wheel rim of 1997-2000 US-spec CLK320s and in Europe CLK Sport models. Often used for VW campervans nowadays.
Renamed MKNB LW-7 (Light Weight)


- Mercedes-Benz Merak 16 inch 7J. Wheel often found on Elegance W208 CLK and Avantgarde W210 E Class.
Renamed MKNB Era-5


-Mercedes-Benz Mirzam 16 inch 7J. Wheel of 2000-2002 US-spec CLK320s and in Europe CLK Avantgarde models.
Renamed MKNB Irza-7


- Mercedes-Benz Corvus staggered set 16 inch 7J and 8J Wheel in 7J configuration found on W202 Sport models, 8J configuration on R170 SLK and Staggered configuration on W208 CLK.
Renamed MKNB Orva-6


- Mercedes-Benz Algieba 16 inch wheels (W203 Avantgarde wheels)
Renamed MKNB Aba-5


- Mercedes-Benz Adharaz 17 Inch. Wheel found on facelifted C Class (W203) and CLK W209 models before facelift.
Renamed MKNB Hara-5


- Mercedes-Benz Alshain 17 Inch. Wheel found on C Class Sportscoupe (CL203) and Facelift Avantgarde/Sport C Classes (W203) models.
Renamed MKNB Alsha-7


- Mercedes-Benz AMG Black Series 19 inch rims
Renamed MKNB Hardcore-16


- BMW Style 6 15 inch 7J Wheels of an E36.
Renamed ETK 15 Hole


-Vossen CV3 19 inch 8.5J (9J in game)
Renamed Voxxess S5S.

But to get them approved by a moderator, you have to rebadge them,
or you just place the file in this thread here, you can keep the star badge then!?

 

Good point. I already thought something like that looking at mods out there! Rebadging the Vossens would be easy. (Matter of changing the texture) Does it matter what the files themselves are called? Rebadging the Benz wheels is going to be a little bit more difficult as the logos are in the mesh itself. Should be do-able though. Thank you for the feedback!

Maybe you could make a forum friendly version with the regular names & badges? Upload this earlier until then, if you can could we also get some HRE wheels maybe rebadged as HTD or HTL?

 

I think I will just make the renamed/rebadged version, as it makes almost no difference to the look of the wheels, just the badge. It saves me a ton of work by making just one version and those who really want a Mercedes logo on there can modify the texture.

I have darkened the MKNB logos. Looks better like this I think.

Fellow Mercedes fan salutes you for your contribution for everyone sir! the wheels look awesome! however i was wondering if you would consider doing some of the more modern wheels such as the 85270 series wheels from 2013
i think it would look pretty nice on the ETK cars sunburst and SBR4

 

Beta Released the wheelpack containing 9 different rim designs!

More wheels on their way, just decided to release what I have converted right now.

which car? The CLK? These are screenshots from RoR, the predecessor of BeamNG. I made the CLK

I have some planned, but I don't remember making those for RoR? I did some Brabus Wheels and other Mercedes Wheels. Did the Monoblocks in 17 inch for the CLK only iirc

I don't have them planned at the moment, maybe I'll model them some day, when I do I will include them in the pack
