Just playing around in Photoshop with this idea for the visual, but have seen countless YT videos of Train Crossing Crashes. Idea for a serious 'Mission Race' This could be a possible update on the 'Johnson's Valley' Map (plenty of space there) by building a City Scape / Docks / Train Station etc where you could start in a normal road going car or Track Car and start off at a Train Station when the Train pulls out. Drive / Race the Train beating it to the final destination, while driving alon side and crossing the railway lines frequently to add that crash / damage risk and finally arriving at the first destination point out of the City in the Desert Settlement or something like this area to change vehicles. Once reaching the first destination, having to get out of that car, walk / run over to the 2nd vehicle, in this case the 'Dunekicker' or something else, start it up and carry on over the sand / rocky terrain which includes having to cut in front of the Train, jumping over the train as well as jumping through gaps in the Train Carridges where there are missing container Carridges. This could be accomplished with well positioned ramps or Dirt hills positioned by the Track etc where the racer can vear off the track and with perfect timing jumping through the missing container carridges.....almost Movie like. Having dirt roads running along side the Train much like in the old westerns with Cowboys / Horses riding along side but having a certain length of these roads to cross in front of the Train due to running out of road....think 'Back to the Future 3' Train going over the bridge where your driving vehicle would fall over a cliff if kept going, otherwise having to stop the vehicle and wait for the long Train to pass...making the driver loose time and fall behind....unless there was a well placed ramp beside the track to try your luck. All the vehicle driving could possibly take place close'ish to the Railway Tracks so you can see the Trains progression and to gauge your own position as to how far ahead or behind you are in the time trial race. Possibly having Slow / Medium / Fast speed adjustments for the Train to increase or decrease difficulty levels depending on how good your driving skills are. Just thinking out loud.
