Missing AppData folder to install mods?

    For some reason I cant find the AppData folder unless I'm in WinRAR.exe. I have no idea how to access the folder so I cant install any of these awesome creations. Any ideas? I'm also very bad with computers. And I'm running windows 8 if that makes any difference.

    Go to the shortcut of the game starter
    1 - Right click on it and go to properties
    2 - Click on open file location

    Here is a video if you need more help :)

    go to run and type %APPDATA% then press back go to local-beamng

    press homebutton+r (it is 4 squares like window logo)
