Released Miramar 690/710 coupe update thread 2.0

The 1969 ibishu Miramar 710: "Elegance meets refinement"

After quite a bit of work we are finally close to the release of this thing.
This project started a few moths back but i finally found time to finish the model and create some parts
The jbeam and Texturing was made by @.nokau together with some other featues of this mod.

What this mod adds:

- Two diffrent coupe body styles to the base Miramar:

The Regular (Edited version of the SP by nokau) and the SP (made by me)

They differ in the rear with the more swooping rear of the sp and the special sp wing ( modeled by @waboll ) as well as the quad headlights and the splitter compared to the more standard 710.

- A new inline 6 engine derived from the race i4 :

The regular engine has around ~200 hp The race engine has around ~310 hp

- In the futute the hopper taillights of .nokau's miramar parts mod (https://beamng.com/resources/miramar-face-parts-hopper-tailights-parts.3591/) may be made compatible with the coupes :


- The 690 version wich adds the 710 suspension and front grille to the regular Miramar:


The mod will be released soon but no exact date can be given at this point.

 

COOL! reminds me of the other big Miramar mod by NinetyNine.

your rear axle seems to be too far

If you'd fix that you'd have a very solid mod on your hands.

I can agree with that. It would look much better if it became a bit shorter and had the rear axle move forward a bit.

 

Very cool, but could try to edit the fascia a bit 'cause else it'll look too much like the Z Coupe

 

You mean like... a 2000 gtr ? The car i am recreating here ?

it doesnt have to be an exact recreation tho ? like yes this is inspired by the 2000 gtr but it doesnt have to be 100 % accurate

i have tried that but it actually looks a little too stubby in my opinion

I really like those taillights. Are they just Hopper lights mashed together?

 

Both that mod and this mod's front fascias are based on the same car, the Nissan Skyline GT-R. Obviously they'll look similar, and neither has more of a right to exist than the other.

But the Miramar already is a sedan, why would one go through the process of reinventing the wheel when its already there...

Ik, but this coupe comes with a different body style, so that's why.

You're contradicting yourself there. Either way, the proportions would be much better with the rear axle moved forward, that's about it.
