You may think that this is an odd idea for a driving game, but most of you who have played Flatout will probably agree with me. I am not talking about mini games with ragdolls though. Mini games are are short events that you can play with your friends by taking turns, or by trying to get a better score than everyone else online. Here are a few ideas: Hill Climb - attempt to drive up a steep and bumpy incline without going back down. Features different heights and inclines for various difficulty levels. Descent - basically the opposite of hill climb. Try to get to the bottom without rolling your car in the shortest time possible. Obstacle Course - try to complete in the shortest time possible. Features climbs, descents, narrow roads, cliffs, water, (maybe car crushers?) etc... Roll-Over Challenge - drive your car off of a split ramp to roll your car as many times as possible. Game over when your car will no longer function. These are just a few ideas. Please let me know what you think (try to keep it positive), and feel free to post your own mini game ideas!
Great idea! I just thought of another: Long jump - equip your car with some rockets and wings! I guess that would apply as a stunt
I like the idea of mini-games. What about a Burnout-inspired "Crash" event? Players would be scored by how much damage they could inflict on their car. The events could be near different dangers (like cliffs or ramps) that players could use to damage their car. This would be a really fun game mod for online gameplay.
AWESOME IDEA! And the difficulties could be sort of like: "To win this event, you must rip off 2 wheels in a crash." or "To win this event, you must rip your car in half" (Yes it's gonna be possible )
I'm a little bit disappointed to see this thread die so quickly. I really thought that this would be a great idea. New mini game: Ski Jump - Drive down a ski jump and see how far you can fly! If you have a good idea for a mini game, PLEASE POST IT!
I had a cool idea. Some sort of launcher that shoots your car and you have to try land on a target. Could actully be really hard.
Something like what Top Gear did some years ago, they put cars on a compressed hydrogen launcher and launched them into a quarry. So a car darts kind of thing would be awesome!
compressed hydrogen? Using one of the most explosive elements known to man to launch cars? That's hilarious. I somehow think you mean compressed nitrogen, or compressed air. but you've given me an idea for the vehicle suggestions. How does a Hindenburg sound?
That would be EPIC. another idea: Trebuchet! Not really a mini game, but it would be fun to fling my car into the air!
We need a mini-game where botNG needs to get to work as fast as possible. Without killing himself or others. XD
Well, my idea for a multiplayer minigame event is: You got a few players. If there are for example 5 players, you got 5 rounds in a match. Every round, another guy is a 'target vehicle'. Of course, each person in a match is the 'target vehicle' once. The others (In this case 4 guys) Have to let the target vehicle tip over, while the target vehicle has to flee. In the mean time, there is a clock ticking, and counting the survival time of the target vehicle. The guy who survived the longest of all, is the winner. LOL imagine this with the target vehicle being the Pigeon and the take down vehicles are all Vansters Heh heh heh! How do you guys think of this?
