Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel

Hi, i have a question.

i have a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel, with an adaptor (game port to usb) but there are no win7 drivers, is there any ways to install it anyway?

I also have a Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel, the black one with an USB cable (see attachment). I don't have an adapter, the cable from the wheel is USB straight out of the back, but I think that because of the game port, you won't get it working. I didn't need any drivers, they started dowloading/initializing straight away when I plugged it in. I'm using Win 8.1, but I don't know what to do on Win 7 or if the game port is stopping you (probably).

I think my wheel is a bit older than your, it have the game port, i recently have bought the usb adaptor but win7 don't see it.. i read on internet that my model (designed for win95-98) cannnot suport the usb adaptor.. i think have to try with an old soundcard whith the game port..
The wheel was fantastic with monster truck madness.. i would like to use it for Beamng

Your wheel work with or without force feedback on beamng?

 

Without, at the moment. No wheel does yet. Well, technically BeamNG doesn't yet. There isn't any force feedback at the moment, but from what I've read it's higher than some other things on their to-do list.

 

Ummm... im using Win 7 Ultimate 64x.. no problems here..
