I wasn't quite sure how to phrase this, but here's my basic problem: I decided to make a convertible Bolide, but when I tested it in-game, the textures along the parts of the mesh that I added were messed up. There weren't any "no texture" areas, simply areas of the mesh that were clear. Here's some pictures, if they help. I hope someone can help.
Hi, some questions to help you Do you have combined your news meshs to the body bolide part? Do you have correctly oriented the normal of your news meshs? Do you have use the same texture as the super_c or super_d? Hope the solution is here.
This is my first mod, so I don't really know what you're talking about. I looked around on the wiki a bit to try to get some idea about what you are referring to, but found nothing. What I can tell you is that all I did was change the .dae file, and make a new vehicle by copying all the files and replacing the .dae file with the modified one.
I am talking about manipulation of the mesh in your 3D software. You need to check it, search about normal orientation, attach polygone to existing object and texture assignement. Good luck.
It looks like when you closed the gaps you didn't re-uvmap the extra polies to anywhere so they just take random parts of the texture.
