Maps always getting messed up

    some times when i edit a map, like simple stuff such as adding extra cars the map gets messed up. Either the camera get stuck outside a car and i cant do anything, stuff like that. So I back out and when the dialog asks if i want to save I hit No. Yet when i go back to the map it saved. So I am constantly having to run update. Is there something I am doing wrong? Or is this just a alpha glitch?
