Map is black

So im trying to make a map, i tried making a new one from beamng's world editor, torque 3D. but the map is just black. I am new to this
I made a map with L3DT and its also black, how do you add a brightness? even if i add a sun it wont really light up the whole map.

This is what it looks like right now.
And please dont just give me the link to wiki, i am constantly reading in it.

 

Cache materials problem. I think.

1. Reset the cache
2. make sure you do not have a blank plane that needs deletion under mission group in the scene tree
3. make sure you are importing your height map onto a NEW level, not the existing level used to enter World Editor.
4. keep trying until someone more helpful that this comes along.

I exported the mountain from L3DT. also when i load it it gives me an error, Failed to create resources Mountains.mis.decals.
This is my first map that i make from scratch.
When i exported it from L3DT i just put it in the levels folder and i didnt change anything.
maybe its because i didnt import the map textures. I really dont know.

 

Save all mapping to default locations.
