HI EVERYONE! I firstly uploaded totally wrong map by accident. Sorry bout that. So i made two maps. First and more complex one is 4x4km area of driving and the terrain is gridsize 1 Second map is super simple basically few objects and a HUGE downhilll where those objects are as an obstacles and i thought maybe i could somehow connect these, what i doubt a lot and thats why im asking. and the biggest problem is that the second downhill map is like gridsize 10 or atleast 6 i dont remember, but il upload the downhill map in here for fun. Would be really awesome to somehow merge these so this downhill thing would be somewhere on the same map, but don't need to be connected to it uknow it can be somewhere very far from original terrain plane i can make teleports to go in there. Could it be possible to merge this more complex map to the simple one where gridsize is huge? I don't know just asking.
What happens if you copy the second Terrain to the first project? I think it’s difficult to do that. Especially if you have different scales. My guess is that you could merge terrains in blender. But all the assets of the second map have to be placed from new. Either manually or by calculating the new positions. But therefore some coding knowledge is necessary.
Oh i would be very happy if that would be possible to just 'add/merge' terrain to this more complex map and add those assets normally later. Is it hard to try? Wanna help? No clue i have how to do t:Yoda There's not that much assets anyways as the speed of downhill is about 300km/h --- Post updated --- this is what the more 'complex' map looks alike this not wanna do again It has two routes basically red is offroad and blue is carkourish i don't know. Tryed to make a fun track to drive with AI, but the AI is always stuck somewhere
To be honest I don’t believe it will be successful. What gridsize should the resulting map have? If you don’t want to loose detail on the smaller map it should have scale 1 but then we have to make a huge map because of the scale 6 or 10 one. Then you have to get both on the same height. No easy task and I want to spend my time for my project. but you could give it a try yourself and export the terrains of both maps and try to stitch all the images together. Then reimport to a new map.
Oh yea i understand and yes i would like to keep the gridsize as close to 1 and about that second one it doesn't even matter coz it's straight no bumbs in terrain. My only problem basically is that in 4x4km map is too small. I can do the whole 'second map terrain' again in the 'more complex' map if possible without screwing up placement of assets and stuff. Can i make 'complex map' terrain bigger by editing the terrain file somehow and keep the gridsize 1? What program do you use to do the stiching? Got any good tutorial link for such a thing? Only picture editing thing i have on my pc is MS Paint xD images u mean as of file name "theTerrain.ter" ? btw i don't speak english native it's mah second language please try to understand and thanks in advance
