Hi, I'm facing the low fps problem in BeamNG again
It is best noticeable on West Coast, I have an average of 30-40 fps there, although my friends have higher fps on weaker computers.
I have encountered this problem and I reinstalled my windows, this helped for a while but now the problem has returned
In the screenshots you can see that the CPU and GPU are lightly loaded but the fps is low
I don't want to reinstall the system again, so I'm asking for help.

    I have Windows 11 23H2
    Ryzen 5 2600X
    3060 Ti
    32Gb Ram
The game is on M2 SSD disk

Try adjusting graphic settings, if your screen is "only" an HD(1080p) screen and you have the resolution set above the screen specs then lower it to your screen specs. If not try other graphical changes. Mirrors and shadows can take up a lot of processing power.

    I have a 2k resolution.
The problem is that I should have a lot more fps on ultra settings than I have now
People with weaker computers get better results than I do now

Check for other programs unnecessarily using up processing power. And maybe reduce viewing distance, I did this and it helped without much visual effect in the city.

    Thanks for the answers.
    I think there's a deeper problem here
The CPU and GPU are not loaded at all, which is alarming.
I also tried running the game through Vulkan and the fps was noticeably higher.

Hmm... try running it at a lower quality to see if the FPS is lower than it should be there too.

I am not an expert on computers but this might reveal a deeper problem outside of Beam.ng... :(

Is this with traffic or without? Can't tell from the image. What are your graphics settings in Beam? Couple other things: BIOS up to date, RAM running in XMP speed, AMD chipset driver up to date, Nvidia driver up to date, SAM/Resizable BAR activated in BIOS and graphics driver? Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling activated in Windows? Balanced or high power plan? Temps fine?

all screenshots without traffic, settings in the game are ultra, in 2K, bios updated, all drivers are also updated, memory is running at a good frequency, temperatures are normal
All in all everything is fine, the problem only appears in BeamNG Drive

I am having the same issue with a RTX 3070 and Ryzen 5 5600, similar FPS, and the "Potential Bottlenecks" are showing GPU and GameEngine for me too. I am running on 1080p 240hz and High preset, and my GPU and CPU are at about 10-20% load.
    --- Post updated ---
I tried disabling all mods (and safe mode) and Ultra settings and got 70 fps or so. When switching to Ultra my GPU usage is now about 50%, but my CPU usage is still around 20%.

How does it run in Vulkan mode? That helps in CPU bound scenarios

Vulkan mode, no mods. Also when I start driving the fps goes up by like 20 fps.
