Low fps and lag

was there an update? because i came back to my pc after being gone for a week and my fps has gone to poop
anyone know the problem? I've never had problems but now I'm getting 30 fps and its lagging really bad while before I didn't have a problem, it used to be an easy 80fps

 

what's your pc's specs? that's usually the culprit

 

I've also tried updating my drivers to no avail, pc specs are Gtx1060 - i7 6700 - 16Gb of Ram
(found out that its really bad on wcusa, although I have no mods for that map)

 

That's strange, even though a 6700 is old, it shouldn't get that performance...

 

that's what I thought, never had any problems and the fps was only getting higher through the last updates and now all of a sudden it is really bad, although wcusa is by far the worst on some other maps I still have laggspikes(?)

 

i've noticed marginally lower FPS since the last update too, i've heard it's something about beam not properly using all of the GPU but dont quote me on that

 

I have that issue too. I have a 3070 yet have only 39% usage.
