    Hello everybody ,

Sorry to bother. I am new to Beam and enjoying it a lot. So much to the point where i like to start making some mods for personal use. I have been looking all over the internet but it seems hard to find. I am looking for a tutorial on how to for example make a custom bumper and how to implement it in game.

The 3d editing is no issue for me. It is the part of how to save it and then get it to show up in the corresponding slot ingame , example , different custome tube bumper made by myself for the Gavril D-series offroad.

Hope you peeps can help me out pointing me into the right direction.

    Sol

As I posted this i found that one straight after. I do apologize. Thank you very much for the quick reply. Is there a way to find existing vehicle files ? as I would need to fit some parts to the existing vehicle.

Yes this is relatively easy, but please note that some files do not have the same name as the vehicle in game, you just have to click through them.
I will guide you, but keep in mind that my screenshots are in German, so my translation may be described a little differently than yours.

Open Steam, right-click BeamNG.drive and click Properties:

Then go to "Local Files" and browse "Search through":

    Then go to content>vehicles
There are vehicles and also there is a zip named "common" there are all things every car shares eachother like wheels/tires/lightbars..
