    Hi!

I have a Logitech gaming wheel witch doesn't work realy proper as i want to...

Ive checked for other threads but didn't find any for this device so im gonna explain whats not working and so on..

So when i go in to the game and press my gaspadle the car doesn't go forward, its going backwards but if i press again it goes to neutral..
I've tried to change and "played" with the axes but haven't succeed, only changes so its getting the opposite way... (not so good with notepad etc etc)

So anyone with the same problem or someone who knows what to do please HELP! :)

    Hey Pod,

I have a couple of suggestions for you:

    1. There's a great and detailed tutorial on the wiki page about remapping controllers. Though you said you're not great with Notepad, I suggest you give it a shot. The program being in alpha stage means there's gonna have to be some DIY fixing, and that's a great place for you to start. You can get to that tutorial here: http://wiki.beamng.com/Playing and scrolling down to Advanced Controller Setup.

    2. Logitech used to make a program called Logitech Profiler Software that you can use to remap what the computer understands as each button. In other words, if "Button 1" is "fire" but it makes more sense for "Button 2" to be fire, you can change what Windows sees as Button 1, instead of remapping within a specific piece of software. I did a quick search but did not come up with the software. I'm sure, however, you can find an old mirror somewhere if you dig.

Hope this puts you on your way to a solution.

    Good Luck,

    McWeaksauce

Forgott to say that i've checked the wiki and tested a few ways but not all cuz the game finds a log that works a bit but in the end i think i have to make me my own log and thats what i realy didnt want to do before checking with the forum.
Yes logitech have a gaming software program, im currently using that for my mouse and when i updated my drivers for the wheel i also got that one.. So i tried to increase and decrease the deadzone (dont exactly know what it means but anyway) and the other thingy that i dont remember :p
