Remember to change the GUID to your own when installing, otherwise it won't work.

THANK YOU! Finally something that works for my F310 (pretty much the wired version of the F710).
Make sure to name the file as your GUID and remove the - !
Put it in imputmaps/custom and enjoy!

I had trouble with this - and it was the first logical search result. If you get here first and have problems go see the help in the 'post your inputmaps' thread http://www.beamng.com/threads/1473-Post-Your-Inputmaps!/page1

Where was the game installed? By default on windows 7 mine was located in:
    C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\BeamNG\BeamNG.drive-0.3
Notice you'll have to use your username.

Open the game, start playing, hit the ~ key and you will see the device id & name that you need in the text file. Device id also has to be file name (without dashes '-').

I named mine controllerwirelessgamepadf710.inputmap.cs and the game detected it.

    Thanks for the .inputmap.cs file!

Hey thanks a lot! This works great for my F510 :)
What button is "lpov"? You have it in your config as switch to next vehicle.

What do you mean? The left stick is for steering? I feel stupid :p

Oh and I can't seem to bind anything to the left dpad button, any idea why? Is "dpadl" wrong?

Edit: Is "lpov" dpad left? Oh and, I know "btn_l" is the left behind button, but it doesn't seem to work :(

Edit2: Hang on , this is just a copy paste of the xbox inputmap ;)?

Edit3: Welp thanks I guess, but I better open up my own thread ;)

Xbox inputmap was taken as a basis, because it have the XInput mode, in which he defined as Xbox Controller.
Enable input debug monitor (you will see the name of the buttons that you press) and adjusts the controller as you wish.

Are you talking about the one included in Windows? Because my controller doesn't show up there. It's a common issue with the F510 apparently :(

Do oyu know of an alternative? Or are you talking about something inside the game?

Exactly. Press the "L" button three times in game.

Great! Thanks a lot :) Well that explains a bit. So "dpadl", "dpadr", etc. don't actually exist on my controller. Hmm I'm surprised the left, right and up ones, work! Compatibility stuff, I guess. Welp thanks for the help, all good now :)

For anyone else, you are going to want to use "lpov", "rpov", "dpov," and "upov" to bind to the d-pad buttons. You could change that in your first post, if you want :)

(Also, you have to press L 10 times ;P)
