Hi, after seeing a lot of models in BeamNG having this kind of "triangulation" :

I was wondering how do you obtain them, without having to delete each face one by one, add an edge and add the 2 faces (cannot just add the edge without having to redo it, it doesn't split in two faces, it can move alone without faces). Is there a modifier for that or you really do it the slow way ? It appears on flat objects or even rounded ones as rollcages. I'm an amateur in Blender, still have some things to learn, but I'm sure it does improve deformation as much as the look, hence why the question. :)

    Thanks

I think you can select the area, and go in the bottom menu to mesh>faces>triangulate faces. Or try ctrl+t
