License Plate text keeps defaulting to my steam name...?

Even when I change it in the garage, it always defaults back to my steam name (first name). How can I permanently set what the license plate says no matter what car I use? thanks

 

You will have to use an external mod. (i forgot the name of the mod and cant find it).

If it was up to me i would love the concept of being able to have the default car start with a generic normal plate code.
