Launcher don't launch on network session, error code 0x0000001

Hi, we've been trying to build a car simulator at school using parts from the car mechanic classes and decided to use beamng for it.

However we have a problem when trying to launch it. Before the launcher even launches we get error code 0x0000001 with message "can't find document folder". We think this is because the game is launched from a network session on the school's network / trying to read files from the server and gets acces denied by it. Beamng is installed with steam and verifing the local files don't fix the issue.

How could we fix this issue to get the game to start ? Should we try to launch it as administrator or ask the network admin to allow beamng to acces the server ?

(The game is installed on the C drive and it runs fine on my computer at home)
