Actually I wanna know the D Series is based on GMC C/K or Sierra? The platforms between them are confusing.(GMT+digits)Their later models are nice. They can be equipped with 8.1L V8,a real beast! About the Ford E Series……Their late model came with huge chrome grilles. That's terrifying. The B Body Chevy Caprice ended production in 1996,so there were no direct successors. However if you mean the Australian made GM Zeta Platform Caprice, that's great. Both V6 and V8 are available.
The GMT400 platform was made from 88 to 98, and it seems to be what the D series is based off of, although there is some Ford influence as well (base inline 6 instead of a V6) The Sierra was just a trim level back then, I think. C/K refers to whether it is 2wd or 4wd. The 99-06 Trucks were avail with the 8.1 litre, the earlier trucks top option was the good old 454, as well as the 6.5 turbodiesel.
I think the Roamer is based on the Ford Expedition. The Gavril brand is actually based on both Ford and GM .
Oh and to add to your point, a modern Grand marshal would be awesome in Beam. In the US, they were sold in 2008 as the Pontiac G8, and sold currently as the Caprice police cruiser and the Chevy SS (the police cruiser being the long wheelbase)
The Australian Zeta Platform.6.2 supercharged V8 is available. --- Post updated --- However, what we need is more new cars.I am looking forward to driving the "Soliad Wendover".A GM W body car. With the hilarious 3800 V6.
Actually, I think the Wendover is an H body Specifically the 87-91 Pontiac Bonneville. My first car was an 88 Oldsmobile 88, also an H body car. The 3800 is a gem of an engine but those cars are very nose-heavy with that big iron v6 hanging out in the front.
Oh yeah.I am always confused with the W/H platform. The W platform is the enhanced H platform.N/A version outputs 140 hp-200hp.And the SC version outputs to 205-240hp.
