Lagging all of the sudden

I am up to date with latest version and now all of the sudden it is lagging. I have cleared the cache twice and it has continued to lag. I have no idea why this is happening. I hate to play in safe mode all the time. It has been since last week that this has happened. Does anyone know anything about how to fix this? Thanks so much!

 

This actually has been happening to me also. I usually get around 100 - 120 fps with max settings on with one car. All fo a sudden I will randomly get lag spikes when the cpu and gpu usage is only around 70%. My laptop is totally overpowered for beamng.drive I don't know why this is happening.

 

Have you tried limiting your fps to 60 and turning Vsync on? I was getting really bad micro stutter after 0.19 released and that seems to help. It does kinda suck because I have a 144hz monitor but it's better than bad stutter.

 

I have vsync on and its limited to 60 fps. All settings are at max. Worked perfect before the update.

 

I did that. It is still lagging really bad. I know I don't have the most powerful laptop, but my only issue is that this was working just fine a week or so ago and all of the sudden it just started lagging. Its making me annoyed and sad, I play this game all the time and I dont want to continue to play in safe mode cause my GPU crashes (Intel 630 one of the one that has an issue) but someone helped me and got that fixed. So when it is in safe mode and I reset the car it crashes. I just want to be able to play the game. Im not looking for excellence I just want to play.

 

Go to steam and install the Intel igpu workaround from the betas section. Intel gpus are known to not run the game very well and aren't compatible with newer versions of the game.

 

A quick update: Intel updated their drivers which fixed the issue. Updating your gpu drivers should now work and you won't have to use an older version of the game anymore.
