There was no way a mod like this would get 30 signatures anyway, as the people before me said it was probably just a trick to push the guilt on the people who use it, that's sad
Can someone please explain me in SHORT what exactly happened with the mod/author! I don't want to read so much childish and "nerfwrecking" (drama) comments.
Basically they said it had to reach 30 signatures for it to get updated and said he quit because it did not reach the target, there were 26 signatures. TL;DR made a signature goal and ended it short to make it look like it was our fault.
Thanks for explaining! This is really sad! People which don't understand the potencial (gameplay wise) of this mod and the "retro" demand of nostalgia which comes with this idea/mod.... Very Sad! I found (over the years) so much useless nonsense mods and tracks to download in the repo/forum, but this mod was a peak of hope (one of the good ones). Did anyone knew that there was a signature "race"? I don't think so!
) ! But if it would be on Kickstarter or Patreon or Subscribe Star -> Then i am sure that it will rarely been updated and never finished like many different projects what i am aware of (or still waiting). Sad!
It seemed right to answer some criticisms about the abandonment of my project. 1- I have given some explanation on the fact of signatures (metaphorical) on whether it is really necessary to update this mod or not, since it takes so much effort and time.A project does not work by voice command. I work, I do not have to explain to anyone, I have already answered here for a long time now.I have seen that the signatures (always metaphorically) from 7 April 2022 to 28 August 2022 have not been reached, 5 months for 30 symbolic signatures. 2-The assumptions of some who comment make me understand that they do not work yet, and cannot understand, they are probably in front of the PC 24 hours a day, but not knowing anyone in person I cannot judge ... something that some users in this discussion have done, judging my person without knowing anything. 3- Enjoy version V9.0. 4-If a V10.0 comes out it will be exclusively to a few chosen by me, a gift for the fans still present.
You still got support from 21 different people though, and what about people who don't have accounts? casually throws insults at people who disagreed with you Just say you don't have time and leave it at that, don't make it look like it was our fault.
I don't want to come off as rude but why couldn't you just straight up tell that you have no time instead of making that whole thing with signatures? Everyone would have understood that
I did not blame anyone, I just said that for lack of time, and also of little interest on the part of users, I abandon the project..
