Just downloaded 0.4.0.6 from steam, will launch but not start.

I just downloaded the 0.4.0.6 version using the beta menu from steam but when i open the game either manually or through steam it comes up with this and there is no option to load any menu's.


I wasn't around for this version and I did several forum searches but no result. I had play with the keyboard but to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated as i would like to test and play on this version of the game.

 

I have done that after forgetting to back up my mods folder. I renamed the folder from the 0.7.0.2 documents one to BeamNG.Drive0.7.0.2 and it has created a new one.

It also comes up with this before launch but i doubt it could have anything to do with not loading up menus.


It's becoming really annoying. It verifies integrity with no problems. I can somehow open the level editor and scale up resolution and there are no hidden icons or buttons on my 1360x768 screen.

 

Might just forget about it until we get NBN setup with more internet. Currently have around 9Gb left for the rest of December because of our shitty, disfunctional and unorganised internet provider (skymesh). I had no problems when i went into the open beta for Automation.

 

It's good to look at what something was to see how much it has developed. As shown in my signature, I only joined in late January this year so i figured it would be good to try out all older versions that used mechanics and such that have since changed.

@Nadeox1 i have both versions of the game. (currently only 0.7.0.0 as steam decided to replace my 0.7.0.2 with another half downloaded 0.7.0.2 and this version).
Do you have any tips or suggestions about what i could do to fix it? Seeing as it is openly available to all BeamNG users via steam.

I delete and uninstall games I get from Steam frequently.Then reload them. It seems to help..

 

Alright then. At the moment i'll play on 0.7.0.0 and update to 0.7.2 when that comes out, my internet needs to last the rest of the month and we only have 8 gb left now.
