Not sure what has been earmarked for the future of Johnson Valley updates....but thought a 'Dubai' type city might suit the sandy / desert area which may have a nice juxtaposition, contrasting effect with normal city driving but allowing to travel out to the Johnson Valley Dune Kicker camp etc etc. Roads heading out of the city having sand drifts over them much like Dubai to make driving interesting .....or a 'Cyber Punk' type ultramodern city scape abandoned with sand dunes rising up around some building where you could drive into some buildings and down some widened stairwells into tunnels leeding out to the dunes of Johnson Valley etc etc A rough Photoshop Concept artwork I produced for reference below.
