I absolutely know this is going to be awesome when finished. It's going to be two (of the many) things BeamNG needs in one: A new modern semi (that is properly made/high quality) and a heavy duty wrecker.
In the video it says it's going to be paid like his other mods, but he says he'll release it for free when his channel gets to 20k subs.
Im curious, will you make a stock version of the truck, without the extra wrecker stuff? (Like without the twinsteer and such) So we can have alternatives to the truck fleet other than the heavily outdated T-series
Kenworth T880 --- Post updated --- That may come in the future. And yes, It would be wise to use already existing cab, frame, suspension with some tweaking to make a stock version, but wrecker will be first.
I hate to ask but something you did here is something I've been trying to do for the T-Series & just keep failing at. I was wondering if you'd be able to do the lift axle for the T-Series. If not, that's no problem at all, just curious.
That may come in the future. And yes, It would be wise to use already existing cab, frame, suspension with some tweaking to make a stock version, but wrecker will be first. I discarded the lift axle, because it didn't perform very well - too many parts - since I wanted to make every control bar jbeam separate - also 4 airbags - It became too unstable. I was also steerable lift axle - more complicated. It would need to be done differently. It also made the truck less offroad capable because the axle was hitting bumps and stones and wanted to lift the drive wheels off the ground. That's why I went with the twin steer. The lift axle looked like this. Made after the Hendricksons EXS20.
I see, I was hoping a single one for the T-Series might be easier. Thanks anyways. The mod is looking really good so far btw.
