hello im making my first car for blender but im having a few issues
so the first one is i cant export into jbeam, ive got the latest version of blender and export plugin for .jbeam but it says (must be exported in a directory) now im not to sure what this means i presume you cant have anything in the folder your trying to export to but i cant seam to get past that

also ive created all the textures they are all .png for blender, when i export into .jbeam what will happen (will i have to make them again)
and my last question, my car is basicly a roll cage on wheels but how do we make hinges (doors swinging if damaged) , the instructions arent all to clear to me
and if its not to much to ask could some one download it and open it in blender and tell me if it would work in beam ng
heres the link to the download ( https://www.mediafire.com/?21rqfbnsvskzwy8 )
    -thanks

You do not simply export the mesh to a JBeam.

Take a look at the official vehicle JBeam debugs in game and then look at the meshes in blender. The "polies" of a JBeam follow a totally different flow from the visual mesh. While you can custom create a mesh suitable for JBeam export, it is not advisable and you are best off hand crafting it.

Export into a directory. Thats pretty self explanatory. The target you export to must be in a directory, aka, in a folder. Any folder. Just not inside a zip (which is an archive not a directory). I dunno, C:\Users\Callum\Documents\Uni\CSY2028, thats a random folder I have, its a suitable directory.

ok so ive done a lot of work since you posted this and ive corrected most the issues but i still cant export into .jbeam ive created other things (tug) and it exported fine but i cant export anything in the actual car that ive created, i don't understand why it keeps saying must be exported in to a directory, now to see what the issue is i made a new file and exported the default square into jbeam where i want my actual car to go and it went in with out a problem
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\BeamNG.drive\content\vehicles\Sunburst_R68
    am i doing something wrong???

Wrong directory. Do not ever use the beamng content folder, which is an admin folder anyway. Use the mods folder in your documents.
