Some of their mods can be safe, but you really shouldn't get them from there. Here on the official forums, you will get the best selection of quality mods. The 'Russian' mods on places like WorldOfMods usually are low quality, and, if they aren't, they are usually stolen and uploaded without the permission of their original creators.
Just wanted to know because i seen pictures on google images of mods ive never seen on this website and was wandering if they were real
Probably yes. Just do it at your own risk. The quality on the mods tends to be not good. Also what pisses me off *in terms of them posting my map(s)*, is they don't credit the author most of the time.
I think it depends on what hosting site the mod uses. Some of them might try to install a virus and destroy people's PCs, as if it's not bad enough that they're downloading that horrible Lamborghini Aventador mod. On a serious note though, the best rule is to stick to the forums for mods
No every time I try to download McAfee stops it because the authors want the consumers to get malware I don't recommend it unless you want a virus.
Depends. If it's just normal mod files, it's fine. However, I've seen there sometimes being .exe files in there, and that's probably malicious.
