alright i took it upon myself to try.

They are safe, as long as you click no ads, no weird ass links, and only directly download the file.

The mods are shit though and are made using illegal activity soooooo

you dont have to delete your mod land net mods. guys dont tell people what to do.

 

You don't have to unsubscribe from a channel that steals all of its videos from another creator, essentially violating DMCA copyright, don't tell people what to do guys

The only reason these shady websites are good for is finding old mods

 

And these mods don't even work half of the time because they don't know how to pack a file correctly. The only time I downloaded from a website like this all I got was an empty Vehicles folder and a readme text file lol

 

Or the mod is VERY outdated.

 

Absolutely not safe, I've been there once (didn't download) and my computer suddenly said WWW.WorldOfMods threatens the security of your computer. DON'T DONWLOAD.

There are a few things wrong with this statement.
1. No, it IS bad. You are getting mods from a website that STEALS CONTENT.
2. No shit, all of the mods on those websites are utter horseshit, most of which are re-uploaded and can be acquired through the BeamNG website.

 

i have found some somewhat decent mods that aren't reuploaded
however in my last statement i did forget that every five seconds they spam you with ads

the point is that no its probably not safe

 

Is "somewhat decent" like "Lada Car Pack quality but just the base models without all the extra stuff"? I don't think they have stuff better than this

 

There's nothing harmful in the mods themselves. The site is just blasted with ads for maximum revenue, which is annoying.

 

Nothing harmful to the person downloading them, but very harmful to the community.
