Hi community! I'm the guy who posted a thread about ETK K Series facelift, and I want to know & confirm if this is the right way to buy an engine sound file without copyright claim. Just to be sure by some of the engine mod experts out there. Thank you! Jesus the sound file ALONE cost 75bucks. I think it is worth it compared to the job done by the guys who created this but come on, I'm a student.
The LFA is a v10 not sure how you screwed that up but whatever You gotta ask the creator of that sound file thing if you can redistribute works with his product. Then you have to show that he said yes.
I screwed up. geez XD Recently me and our crew had a big debate about how we are going to make V8, so my brain messed up, haha Yeah V10 is right So you are saying that even if the word written down there says 'License Type: Royalty Free', it is not enough to freely use and 'share' the mod containing the soundfile in the BeamNG? --- Post updated --- So that I need to contact the creator and ask additional permission?
Royalty free means you don't need to pay the creator per usage. Meaning, you can use it for as many different projects as you like once you have paid the fee.
