Is there anyway to disable the gas tanks?

    I have a very low end pc and most of the time I find myself doing one on one demolition derbies. Most of the time i have to end it because the gas tank explodes after a few hits to the rear. Is there a way to disable it so it wont explode? Thank you very much!

    maybe you can just select a electric car

    Consider using more modern cars, those have fuel tanks that are far less likely to catch fire.
