Is there a way to set a permanent spawn point in a world?

Is there a way to set a permanent spawn point in a world? For example I downloaded the map leap of death and it spawns me at the very bottom, I want to be at top, so currently I either have to spend an hour driving to the top or spending an hour moving the camera and teleporting there. And forgive me but I have next to no idea how to use the world editor. Thanks

 

Press Ctrl+R to set a point, then press I to return there. Have fun!

Whoops... You mean edit the spawn point at the start of the map, right? To do that, go into the editor and click on the spawn sphere. Change your view into freecam (Shift+C) then drag the sphere where you want it using the arrows that appear. Press Ctrl+S to save it. Done!
