Is it possable to update Beamng drive without Steam?

    My dad buy Beamng.drive on his accunt so he is the owner of the game... So is it possable to update Beamng.drive without Steam? Sry for my bad english. //Elias_2728

    From which store you bought the game from exactly?
    (Steam? Humble Bundle? Other?)

    Then you need to be logged in that same Steam account the game was purchased with. Then Steam will update the games on that account automatically.

    Is there anyway i can re download the game without steam? IE get the game through the developers themselves? I honestly hate steam

    just make a shortcut to the .exe file in program files(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/beamng.drive

    You can only download it from wherever you bought it from.
    If you got it from Steam, then you need to use Steam itself.
    If you did not want to use Steam, you should have got the Humble Bundle version, which contains a DRM-Free version.

    I just hate, that i'm limited by something. In this case where i can DL it, since i already bought it. just don't like the fact that if i have to re-dl it, i'm stuck with steam to do so
