Invisible car body again - nothing seems to help

For the last two patches my cars - all of them - have been invisible. No idea why.

I've rolled back graphics drivers, deleted them, updated them (most recent installed now) on my GTX670.

The truck spawns and all I see are the steering wheel and pedals. I tried spawning in that new car when it was released but it flickered on and off, and depending where I drove it was visible or wasn't. Now nothing shows up ever, very strange.

I've deleted the settings files, I've renamed the cache file so I figured that was as good as "deleting" it.

Can't figure out what else to do!? I've tried all graphics options in the game, every setting on or off, different resolutions, windowed and not windowed. Every other game I have runs fine.

What happened and why am I apparently the only person experiencing this!? =D

I've come across 50 threads from a couple years ago talking about, "experimental version doesn't support your old mods" well I don't HAVE old mods, I only have the base game now!

Just deleted all of the cache to be sure. No difference, I've noticed since the LAST update (today) my car starts to destroy itself upon spawn. If I just sit there the front wheels collapse and then I hear stuff break and fly away and then the truck kills itself! I see all of this by holding CTRL and mousing over the truck to see the nodes. The vehicle body DOES show up for 1 frame at loading but never shows again. How bloody strange

 

Clean reinstall your game.
Follow these exact steps:
-Unistall BeamNG from Steam
-Delete BeamNG.Drive folder from MyDocuments (backup your mods if you want, but don't put them back yet!)
-Delete BeamnG.Drive folder from Steam/Steamapp/common (If there is still a folder)
-Reinstall BeamNG.

 

Eugh, 3rd world internet speeds.

I know that would/should fix it but I don't have free internet for an entire day to redownload it. You suspect that is the only way to fix it?

It's so strange. Game has always been good for me, then suddenly the bodies disappeared. Now when I start it, body shows up for one frame then disappears, then the car just starts to implode on itself.

Deleted, re-downloading, eeuugh. Will report back

 

... fixed by deleting and reinstalling - so SOMETHING went awry.
