Intensive Menu Lagg

    Hey!

    It's getting even worse to use the menu. Even if i want to change only one part on the vehicle. Still laggy without mods.
    As I read a while ago, Beam needs high single core performance. So maybe my I5 3570 is not enough for the game?

    It isn't just you. The UI of Beam is laggy. Mods intensify the issue. I've just learned to deal with it. Its odd because I can run the game on high graphics at 60 FPS consistently on most maps too.

    I have the same lagg with or without mods. Lagg intensifies with playing time. So ususlly I have to restart the game after an hour of playtime, cuz menu lagg is unbearable.

    The UI for the game runs on a separate process and is locked at 10 FPS, more mods mean more things that the UI has to handle, therefore slowing it down.

    That's false, it's locked at 25FPS.
    The lag he is seeing in the parts menu is not related to the frame-rate although, but to else (sending new configuration to physics, waiting for it to load, refresh configuration to show up new possible subparts, etc.)

    If you use high-resolutions (above 1080p) keep the UI Resolution Limiter enabled.
    Aside that, not much for now, but we are working on that.
