Perhaps it would also be helpful to state what country you are in?

21 year old male. 1 years no claims bonus. No accidents in 3 years of having a license. 2000 Ford Focus Ghia estate with 1.8 zetec engine. Car registered at £150 value. Just over £800 renewal, didnt take it. Actually no longer have the car. England.

Although best one. Late 90s skoda felicia pickup 1.9 diesel. £250 insured value. £2500 I was quoted. Didnt own that car, was getting a quote before considering purchase.

18 year old male from England, been driving for almost a year, and have never claimed.

    1968 MGB GT (Value: £6000) (Insurance: £1169)
    2004 Ford Focus Ghia 1.8 5 door hatchback(Value: £1200) (Insurance:£800)

Both fully comprehensive, and I am the owner and main driver.

Company car is paid for by the company so I can't say how much that is.

Looked into other vehicles and I can get insurance on a 2.25l Land Rover 90 for just over £1000. Pretty much all 1.6l saloons and estate cars built around the 2012 mark are also just over £1000

    Australia.
A touch under $1250 AUD for the A4 and the MX5. That's about $900 USD, £600, 800€. MX5 premium is half that of the A4 for no apparent reason.
No accidents in the A4 since I bought it in 2011(?), and I've only owned the MX5 for a month and a half.

You can probably guess my age from my premiums. :L

is that for both cars? thats really cheap if its full comp
my 2011 Jeep WJ is $850 for full comp + $700 reg per year
1990 MR2 is $350 for fire and theft +$700 reg per year
Can only insure the MR2 for $5000 even though its actual value is $12000  jeep is just at market value.

For the Ranger and Grand Marquis it is about $180 a month. About $1800 for the whole year. Got my license in August 2013. No at fault accidents so I do get a safe driving bonus discount. My dad pays 50% of the Ranger.

    Ranger value - $1800

    Grand Marq value - $2600.
