hi! i have a disability, a few years back i got a viral virus and i lost all hearing and some balance in my left ear. i have problems hearing the motor at sometimes with my headset. if i am behind my car i cant hear anything. it maybe happen due to the surround sound on my headset, if i can do anything for my headset please tell me. to sum it up plz make it so i can disable surround sound. ps. it might just be my headset
In windows, you can adjust the audio balance of the surround sound. You can also make it mono channel.
If im correct if you have realtek audio manager you can set a balance where you can prefer the amount of volume in each ear.

Dont try downloading realtek. You've been given some crappy advice by a guy repeatedly shown to not know what hes on about. Realtek audio manager is for realtek sound devices only, windows update installs it at the same time as the driver packages so if it was applicable to you, you would have it.
