Imma go ahead and play with this.
Textured the damaged glass and lights. I still don't know why the windshield doesn't go away when broken, it may be something from the jbeam file. You may wonder why the windshield doesn't have the same crack texture as other windshields. The answer is simple. I wanted something different. It's still accurate. I know irl modern windshields are strong and they don't break so easily, but...yeah. I hope it's ok (btw don't ask why the tailgate breaks like this XD).
It’s not that it’s just the mesh as far as I can see. I know we are past the topic but I think I would smash something trying to develop on that computer, so props to you for being so persistent.
Some off-topic tests

And some concepts. Give suggestions that i could modify at each one and wich version do you want me to model and get it in game.
Ideally, I'd eventually like to see all of them, but I think the hatchback first because it is the true modern covet.
i think you should focus on perfecting the sedan first, and then later starting work on a new body type.
The logo doesn’t need to change THAT much jus modernize it new text font and slimmer
I was thinking about that too but i shall give a try, maybe the hatch will have better quality, but as i tried to model it yesterday... Its the same suffering as the ID
Got the door handles and the difusser in game.
And performed another high speed crash tests.
This car looks super unsafe, what speed were those tests at?
100+ mph all of them
You should test at 40 mph to compare with the real tests and adjust the jbeam.
Yea i know and also, i am still adjusting the jbeam.
Some kind of center taillight in progress.

Reminds me of a Volkswagen Jetta, good work it looks really nice and detailed
I'VE GONE CRAZY THIS NIGHT.
