I think the new update broke the game...

So i was playing, and I decided to clear my mods, because I wanted a fresh slate, so I empty my mods folder. I loaded up the game and was prompted to download the newest update (ver 5), so I did, I eventually got to the Main Menu, I decided to test all of the new vehicles out, and I get ingame, and I get this.(look at attachment) Cant spawn cars, it just decides not to show up, and I can't move the camera, only in free-camera mode. noting is working, and I tried all sorts of maps. Please help, I have no clue if this was the update, or just me, but if you have any ideas as to how I could fix this, it would be amazing if you would tell me. If you know for sure that it isn't the update, then i may just have to re-install the game.

 

Shall I back up my mods if this happens to me in the morning???

Ok, Thanks for the info @gabester , I didn't use the mod often anyway, so no major loss!

 

Oh, and @gabester, did you add something to the crashes, that if you crash a certain way, the engine spews out small puffs of flames? If so, how do you get it do work? I crashed once, and I saw it happen, it might have just been a glitch the sparks caused and the sparks showed up in clumps, but it looked detailed.
