So, my people, I have started Litecoin mining. I knew how, but trying to do it on a laptop didn't work and I haven't tried it on a desktop until now. So, I use Coinotron for my pool, and GUIminer Scrypt for my miner. I am doing decently, I guess, since my GPU is hitting 78C and the miner says I'm making 203 khash/s, which I do not know is good. I am using a R7 260X for the mining, on a 7770 preset. Screenshot: 5a31bea7e7.png If you have mining experience or something that can help me, or anything to tell me, go ahead. I think it is fun, making money without doing a thing.

I don't know, but some sites convert it to Bitcoin so you can buy stuff with it in some places. EDIT: I guess there are other places where you can convert it to PayPal, which is even more useful.

I have experience, I made 200+ € with Dogecoin. You're probably wasting your time, most likely what you get out of mining won't even cover the electricity costs. What you should do is risk it on a new coin and mine it at the beginning when there isn't much people mining it so you get a lot more, and then hope the price will increase and sell, just like I did with dogecoin.

Your khash I'd say is ok for your card, but it is really slow compared to everyone else.

According to online calculators, with 203khash/s you can make 0,07$ in 24 hours.

Yeah, after the crash ~3 months ago my 770 can't even manage $2/day with free electricity. Mining is now a very fast paced endeavor.

I could get +100k dogecoins in 1 day IIRC when it started, and then a few months later they were selling at 2.1$/1k, too bad I wasn't expecting the price to be so high and I didn't mine much... but still I made some decent profit.

You're late, as I said, you won't even make enough to cover electricity costs.

I don't think there are buy orders for mooncoin. They are useless.

I tried mining Litecoins like last year with my 650ti. Made like $4 in a couple weeks and gave up.

What's a good coin that I could mine with my 270 for a decent profit?

    Look out for power consumption.
Your power bill might make you lose money, not gain (According to what some say, take with a grain of salt)
