i can't refuel in the career mode tutorial

i'm trying to play the career mode but i can't refuel my covet in the tutorial. How do i get past this?

 

I've discovered you can add fuel manually to vehicles by modifying your career save file.

Navigate to: C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\BeamNG.drive\0.31\settings\cloud\saves\(your career profile name)\autosave1\career\vehicles\
Each of the up to 5 possible cars in your garage are assigned a number between 1-5. Open the .json file that corresponds with the vehicle you want to refuel in Notepad++.
In Notepad++, press Ctrl + F to use the find function, and search for "storedEnergy"
It should only return one result in a long string of text near the end of the file, something like this; "...0B12storedEnergy-3268514070B14integrityValue..."
The "3268514070" is the fuel level of that vehicle. Increase the value to add fuel. For you it looks like you're down to 1/5 of a tank, so do some fuzzy math and multiply your value by 5 and save the file. I don't think there are consequences for "over filling" the tank, but I try to avoid it

 

The problem is the tutorial cannot be completed cuz the refueling part doesn't work, refueling works fine once you are out of the tutorial and into normal career mode.
