But then I rewachted WhyBeAres old videos, and realized. He was sick a huge part of my child hood and so was this game. I love this game and will never not feel nostalgia from it. This game is amazing, and the developers are some of the most committed people I have ever seen.
I hate to sound cliche, but Beam holds a special place in my heart. It makes me feel like a kid again, playing with hot wheels. It's the reason I got into PC gaming, too.
Same, because you need a good pc to be able to run this game well. It made me do research on pcs and laptops, and I learned about their parts and stuff
This game is just different than other games in a some way, i have some other games with around 100 hours on them while in beamng i have 2,194 hours in about 2 years and enjoy every second of it.
Yup, that. Its different. It does things in ways commercial games dont. It feels more personal. Its simulates things in other ways for example, it doesnt simulate how a car handles, the car handling is a product of the chassis movements, weight transfer, tires structure and movement and so on. Its awesome.
This game really just... the attention to detail of this game, and the realism of it, it just makes the game so much more lovable then say Forza or Gran Turismo. The only games I really play are Beam and the old Test Drive Unlimited 1, but BeamNG for the most part.
