    Oh good!
(I just want to see what more than 14fps looks like!)

    EDIT
Should I get it overclocked to 4.4?

Oh god not the Morgiman referece xD, we should have a saying on here....can it beat Morgimans 14fps system?

Hmm maybe we have "Morgiman to Gracie how well does your system perform?"

    EDIT:

Thats the turbo frequency, and if you must do it but have a safety bios set with stock clocks!

Exactly but I always advise caution have a "safety bios" that you can go back to trust me if you screw up an OC you will need it :)

I have never built a rig, so I am using this to allow me to see the way everything goes round. (I will upgrade later).

On another note, can I fit extra fans to it from the old family computer, which is now mine to cannibalise?

YES, Do it at your own risk

If its Free, Go for it. But 4ghz should be fine with the 6700k

Definitely a good decision to get it factory OCed by Scan they will make it fast for you but also remember go Liquid cooling that CPU will be a little bit more thirsty for power so more heat and you want to reduce heat in your system
