I am looking to build a computer to replace my laptop, how well would this run BeamNG. Processor: Intel Core i7 6700K, Skylake, 4GHz Quad Core Graphics: 4GB EVGA GTX 970 SSC ACX2.0, 1190MHz GPU, 1664 Cores, 7010MHz GDDR5 RAM: 8GB (2x4GB) Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX, 2133MHz, CAS 13-15-15-28, 1.2V Motherboard: Asus Z170-K Motherboard
Oh good! (I just want to see what more than 14fps looks like!) EDIT Should I get it overclocked to 4.4?
Oh god not the Morgiman referece xD, we should have a saying on here....can it beat Morgimans 14fps system? Hmm maybe we have "Morgiman to Gracie how well does your system perform?" EDIT: Thats the turbo frequency, and if you must do it but have a safety bios set with stock clocks!
Exactly but I always advise caution have a "safety bios" that you can go back to trust me if you screw up an OC you will need it
http://www.scan.co.uk/3xs/configurator/cheap-overclocked-intel-gaming-pc-next-day-delivery-uk-g35i (I know in this link it is an I5, but you change it's config to have an I7)
Good choice but I do the other way around I use that site for parts and I built my own computers myself it brings the personal touch to my rigs
I have never built a rig, so I am using this to allow me to see the way everything goes round. (I will upgrade later). On another note, can I fit extra fans to it from the old family computer, which is now mine to cannibalise?
Definitely a good decision to get it factory OCed by Scan they will make it fast for you but also remember go Liquid cooling that CPU will be a little bit more thirsty for power so more heat and you want to reduce heat in your system
