Hello all. I have just ordered my new PC and BeamNG being one of my favorite games, I was wondering how well you think I could run it, like fps, number of vehicles and map size. Here are the specs. Intel Core i5 4460 3.20GHz Asus GTX 970 Strix 8gb DDR3 RAM No SSD Thank you
It's hard to tell precisely but you should have no problem running 4 cars at 60+ fps given that you don't max out dynamic reflections
Pretty decent specs. I would say you could run it 50-60fps with 2 vehicles on Small Island. BNG works well with higher CPU clocks. I OCd my i5-3570k from 3.4 to 4.1 and noticed a big improvement. I wouldn't worry about it too much given your specs.
Well if we talk about 1080p and steady 60fps (up to 3 cars) graphics I'd recommend is: AA on - SMAA, Texture, mesh, shader quality High (max), lighting quality Lowest, filtering X16, dynamic reflections - texture size max - faces per update 2nd option form left - detail max - distance 350m. From post FX only DoF enabled. But if you don't care too much about dynamic reflections you can max out everything and just turn off dynamic reflections - looks better but personally I have to have "working" mirrors.
