Hello, like the title says, i need help with making doors openable. I was 100% sure there was a post or something about this, but i couldn't find it (or im dumb). If someone will get me a link with already answered post, i will happly delete this post not to clutter up with same questions. Anyway back to the topic, i have no idea how to do it, non. Only jbeam work that i did was creating some custom engine parts. Only thing i know is that to make it realistic you need couplers, not hydros, and you need a actuator thingy (the clickable box) I will be greatful for help!
You can look at the jbeam of vanilla cars and generally find how it works, although not everything can be clear that way. Im working to make openable doors in a mod that has nearly 1:1 door jbeam from etk i, i got it to a point where it wouldn't open, but it would close. Now when opening game gives me broken mod error, any ideas? PS: When changing the latch node from d6r, to copypasted d14rr then crash happens Fixed it: Sound node was reffering to not existant node, after changing it, everything works.

Everything works (tho i needed to move one body node to make it close fully)... except moving the triggers. No matter what i change, they wont move from it's original location.
