How to make mods (for beginners)

Hello, and this is a video that explains step-by-step on how to make a simple config. We are not making huge vehicles here, just a simple config.

updated the video link, for some reason it was in a terrible quality.

 

when I move the pc file into the C:\Users\k\Documents\BeamNG.drive\vehicles\coupe then go back into the game, then go into the car I added a config for and it's not there. but it is in the save/load menu :/

 

i see, close out of your BeamNG and re-open it

 

I did it but I f-ed up on the info Dx it's the Track (M) name still

I DID IT YES!

 

Just look for "Track (M)" In the JSON File, and name it to "Ricer Sport"

Just won't let me upload it as a mod ... :/

 

what happens when you try to upload it?

 

Just sits there for 15 -20 seconds then doesn't upload. but, I did find the issue, It needed to be one my desktop and not have a "_"

 

So when you go to the "mods" tab, and you click "Add Recourse", and select a category that fits your mod, it doesn't load?

 

It didn't at a point, but I fixed it by having it on my desk top, and not having a "_"

 

Ok then, congrats on the fix.

 

It's awaiting approval now
