I have made the BT-80 stupidly fast. 2 problems exist that I have no idea how to fix. 1. It starts to swerve at about 120mph and it swerves uncontrollably at 180mph. 2. The tires pop at 462mph for no apparent reason in the air with no gravity I have no idea how to fix those problems. I want a stupidly fast car that I can plow into other things. Perhaps add thrusters to a couple of nodes so it could drive straight. Check the wiki on how to add thrusters.
That tires burst at such high speeds is completely normal. It's because of the centrifugal force which last on the tireNodes. If it becomes to high the tires burst. You can try to increase the speed of the tire bursting by changing some of the deform values of the tires.
You might want to try adjusting your wheel alignment in order to gain better high speed stability. Equally if you haven't done anything to stiffen up the chassis you may want to do that too.
