How to make a vehicle appear as a police vehicle to AI?

Hi,

How do I make it so that a custom configuration appears to AI as a police vehicle? I am trying to use a custom config from Maxie's Crown vic mod, however when I load it in, the AI police vehicles seem to think that my car is civilian. Any help would be appreciated, as this problem is extremely annoying.

 

Add into the info file the following: "Config Type":"Police"

 

The problem is that I can’t find an info file for the specific configuration. I’m looking at the vehicle in the mods folder, not the vehicles folder. Should I be looking somewhere else?

 

Yes the custom configurations are not in the original zip but in 0.27/vehicles. I don´t know how the Crown is named, but you find the folder there, and inside it at least the .pc file. For this you have to create the info-file (look into the original zip for the correct way of setup). So if your configuration is police.pc create info_police.json.

 

gotcha. I’ve found that folder however I couldn’t find an info file matching my configuration.
