You want to know how to get the most out of the cars in BeamNG.Drive?

Than why not improve the experience by getting the best colours out of you're vehicles.

Step 1. Select you're colour in the colour selection screen.

Step 2. Now set you're alpha to between 0.700-0.900

Step 3. Look at some differences

Works even better on maps with custom cube-maps like Sketch-City

about 50-75% of the time this can make a car look a lot better. also works well if you select mid tones like I did in the example up top rather than in the very corner.. red works well in the corner tho.

This is something I've know ever since shortly after the release of the colour selector during the pre-race update.

This also makes experimental WIP Gabester cars have semi-working cubemap reflections..

Unfortunately due to lack of time these examples aren't great and kinda look inconsistent. sorry about that everyone.

Or if you want matte colors than use 2.0 on the alpha scale, if you want an all chrome car bring it all the way down to 0.08
